Kora Home Artistry

Terms of Sale

Everything you need to know about orders, pricing, freight, returns and claims at Kora Home Artistry.

Orders and payment

All orders are subject to vendor availability and acceptance. Payment is required in full and must clear the bank before Kora places an order with the vendor.

Pricing

Pricing is subject to change without notice until an order has been confirmed. Trade pricing varies by vendor and product. Applicable taxes, freight, shipping and other charges are separate.

Custom and special orders

Custom, made-to-order, COM (customer’s own material), special-order and modified products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged once the order has been placed.

Returns

Returns are subject to the individual vendor’s return policy and require prior approval from Kora. Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees, return freight and other vendor charges. Original freight and shipping charges are non-refundable. Clearance, floor samples, discontinued items and final-sale merchandise are not returnable.

Cancellations

Contact Kora immediately if you need to cancel an order. We will make every effort to stop the order, but once it has been accepted or entered into production by the vendor, it may not be cancelable. Any cancellation fees charged by the vendor are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Lead times and availability

Lead times are estimates provided by our vendors and are not guaranteed. Production schedules, inventory and shipping dates may change after an order is placed. Kora is not responsible for vendor lead time changes or delays. We will do our best to notify you when the status of your order changes. Nothing in this policy limits cancellation or refund rights that may apply under law when an order cannot be shipped within the represented timeframe.

Freight and delivery

Kora does not provide delivery services. Orders may be shipped to a professional receiver, warehouse or other approved location. Kora can assist with coordinating third-party freight or delivery when requested, but third-party carriers and receivers are independent businesses and are responsible for the services they provide.

Receiving your order

Furniture and large items should be inspected by the receiver upon arrival. Packaging should be retained until the item has been inspected and any potential freight damage has been documented.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, submit a claim using our File a claim form as soon as possible. Include photos of the item, packaging and shipping labels along with the order information.

Kora will work with the vendor or carrier to resolve the claim. Remedies may include repair, replacement, replacement parts or another resolution determined by the vendor or carrier. Do not discard packaging or damaged merchandise until the claim has been resolved.

Freight damage

Visible freight damage should be noted with the carrier at the time of delivery whenever possible. Failure to document damage promptly may affect the carrier’s willingness to accept a freight claim.

Color, material and natural variation

Natural materials and handcrafted products may vary in color, grain, texture, size and finish. Fabrics, leather, wood, stone, metal and other materials may also appear different from samples or photographs. These variations are not considered defects.

Product warranties

Products are covered by the warranties, if any, provided by their respective manufacturers. Kora does not provide additional product warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer. We are happy to assist with manufacturer warranty claims.

Samples

Samples remain the property of Kora or the applicable vendor unless otherwise stated. Borrowed samples should be returned promptly and in their original condition. Replacement charges may apply to samples that are lost or damaged. Additional samples can be ordered for your clients on request.

Limitation of responsibility

Kora acts as a product resource and procurement partner. We are not responsible for delays, manufacturing defects, freight damage or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. When an issue occurs, our team will work with the applicable vendor, manufacturer, receiver or carrier to help reach a resolution.

Policy updates

Kora Home Artistry may update these policies from time to time. The policies applicable to an order are those in effect when the order is placed, except where otherwise required by law.
